Coffey International Development in cooperation with the Nossal Institute for Global Health and GTZ International Services is managing the AusAID funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health Program which is an initiative to assist the Indonesian government to implement the National Making Pregnancy Safer Strategies in selected provinces and districts and improving public administration in the health sector.
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for the Partnership based in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination and management of the administrative, procurement and financial aspects of the Partnership as well as human resource and general activity management. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Partnership Director and supervise the Partnership Support Unit and have oversight of the Provincial and District Coordinators.
You will have substantial experience in managing and/or leading operations specifically in the management of systems and procedures, and administrative and reporting arrangements to satisfy donor requirements. A solid knowledge and understanding of Government of Indonesia (GoI) systems and procedures; AusAID policies and cross cutting issues and as well as proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in working effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds; excellent interpersonal communication and report writing skills; strong leadership and demonstrated experience managing a team; demonstrated ability to engage with and build relationships with government agency managers and government representatives as well as having graduate or postgraduate qualifications in business management or related field.
