Junior Accountant - AEMAS

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Junior Accountant for the ASEAN Energy Manager Accreditation Scheme (AEMAS) Project of the Jakarta-based ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE).

Salary: Rp 2,500,000 / month + Benefits
Deadline: 24 September 2010

Duties and Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the satisfactory and timely maintaining of the project’s accounts:

• Record every expenses in the project’s cost-control system;
• Collect financial reports from each partner on a quarterly basis and collect corresponding invoices and proofs of payments from each partner organization;
• Verify the eligibility of the expenses claimed by the partners and check them against the approved budgets;
• Prepare reimbursement forms accordingly for the approval of the Project Advisor and the Project Coordinator;
• Keep track of the project expenses vs. contracted budget to ensure that the actual cost are below or equal to the contracted budget;
• Make forecasts on future project expenses based on budgets submitted by project partners and check forecasted budget against contracted budget;
• Review travel advance request and travel settlement
• Prepare project financial reports (once a year);
• Check the financial report of AEMAS partners

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree in accounting with minimum one (1) year relevant work experience in a technical role is an advantage
2. Sound command of English, written and spoken
3. Maximum 30 years old

Remuneration and benefits

Successful candidate will be offered the post with a probation period of 3 months and monthly salary starting from IDR.2.500,000.

• Overtime allowance regulated by Consolidated Rules and Regulation of ACE
• Annual leave of 19 working days
• Sick leave of maximum 30 calendar days
• 13th month pay to be paid 2 weeks before Lebaran
• Other benefits that are stipulated in ACE Rules and Regulations, subject to the approval of the Executive Director
