Human Resources Assistant, Compensation & Benefits - CIFOR

The Center for International Forestry Research advances human wellbeing,
environmental conservation and equity by conducting research to inform policies
and practices that affect forests in developing countries. We are one of 15
centres within the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research
(CGIAR). Our headquarters are in Bogor, Indonesia, and we have offices in Asia,
Africa and South America.

CIFOR is looking for a Human Resources Assistant, Compensation & Benefits (Ref
#1126)

The Human Resources Assistant will assist in administering staff’s compensation
and maintain the Human Resources Information System.

Specifically the Human Resources Assistant will:

(1) Assist in the management of the compensation and benefits, and ensure
accurate and timely monthly payroll.
(2) Assist staff in the compensation and benefits administration; provide
information and/or counsel as necessary.
(3) Liaise with suppliers including insurance and medical services providers.
(4)  Ensure all employees’ records are well-documented and up-to-date.
(5) Maintain the human resources information systems, especially the fields
related to the Compensation & Benefits such as the leave systems.
(6) Maintain the Human Resources section of the Intranet, especially the pages
related to the Compensation & Benefits information.
(7) Assist in relevant Human Resources Department report writings.
(8) Secretary to the National Staff Representative (NSR) when needed.
(9) Assist and support other HR team members.



Requirements:

Education, experience, technical skills and competencies
- University education in human resources management, business and
administration or relevant fields.
- Have 2 years of experience in the administration of compensation and benefits
programs.
- Have experience in interactions with different suppliers is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable about other HR processes to support other team members in
different HR functions.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

- Have high integrity, the ability to exercise good judgment and the ability to
maintain strict confidentiality.
- Have the confidence in handling issues regarding staff entitlements and other
personnel related matters.
- Have good analytical skills.
- Have initiative and capable of working independently as well as an effective
team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to
effectively and positively interact with people in a multi-cultural and
multi-disciplinary environment.
- Capable in personal organization, planning, priority setting and managing
multiple tasks.
- Focused on continuous improvement and learning.

Terms and Conditions:
This is a nationally recruited position in Indonesia. CIFOR offers a competitive
remuneration commensurate with skills and experience. The appointment will be
for 2 years.
