JOB SUMMARY
The Roving Finance Coordinator is responsible for the financial and administrative management of assigned programs to ensure compliance with internal and donor regulations and procedure, establishing finance and supporting function policies, systems and procedures, and directing or performing their development, documentation and implementation. This position shall monitor all administrative and financial activities and keep the country office management and HQ advised of all situations which have the
potential for negative impact on financial performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
1. The Roving Finance Officer provides accounting and financial reports as required for management and external agencies
2. conducts training of finance staff and provide technical support to country program and logistics
3. make visits to field offices provide training to finance staff on International Medical Corps procedures and requirements, provide recommendation to improve Finance department at the field sites, assists with year end documents and external audit preparations.
4. If needed, Roving Finance Officer position fills in gaps in Finance department in the absence of Finance Director.
5. Provides recommendation re systems and staffing in the field finance department.
6. The position has contact with all levels of management as well as headquarters staff, vendors, field staff, oversees all financial activities in country office, all sites in county, as well as the day to day management and supervision of all activities of the country office at the direction of the Country Director and Field Finance Controller.

The Organization:

The International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC) are global campaigns in over 90 countries with more than 350 member organizations. Their main offices are currently in Geneva and London.

The ICBL, recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, is recognized as the driving force behind the achievement and ongoing success of the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty. The CMC played the key role in the creation of the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, and now works for its universalization and implementation.

Over the past three years, the CMC, ICBL and their research initiative--Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor (“the Monitor”)--have been working closely together to ensure coherence in our respective work and to enhance efficiency in our operations. Since January 1, 2011, all three operate under one legal, financial and governance structure in order to ensure even more synergy, to have more impact and to streamline cooperation. A new Governance Board is providing strategic, financial and human resources oversight. As part of the new arrangement, there will be a restructuring of staff positions. In practical terms, the CMC and ICBL will remain two separate and strong campaigns with dedicated staff for both. Other staff working on administration, media and communications, finance, logistics and administration, and policy will support both campaigns.

Community Based Health, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Health (Water and
Sanitation) and Malaria prevention.

We are now seeking for a Media and Database Officer for the Emergency Preparedness Program with the duty station in Padang. The Media and Database officer will report to the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator E-Prep.  This position is intended for Indonesian nationals only.

The role is responsible for developing and support in training and promoting the Disaster
Risk Reduction in the targeted areas through the development of existing
campaign materials and to adapt the materials to suit the local culture. Interaction
with SAI staff and program beneficiaries is important together with a detailed
understanding of community issues. In conducting his/her duties and
responsibilities, field visits will be frequent.

Requirements

The successful applicant will hold a university degree in relevant discipline or equivalent to
community facilitation experience with at least 2 years experiences in program
monitoring and evaluation, developing DRR promotion media, community

Project Summary:
This USAID-funded project – Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program-1 (SIAP-1) -- promotes capacity-building in Indonesia’s principal anticorruption institutions, the KPK and BPK. The project also seeks to open dialogue about reforms to Indonesia’s political party and election finance laws. The project also works with NGOs, business groups, and mass media organizations at both the national and local level to strengthen external monitoring of government agencies. This is a 5-year project.

Position Summary:
The Money Politics Specialist needs to understand current laws and regulations related to political party financing, and must have an understanding of international best practices in this field. He/she would be in charge of writing policy papers on different reform options; conducting focus groups with key stakeholders in and out of government to identify realistic options to adjust Indonesian practices; supporting stakeholders in advocating for change; and supporting NGO watchdogs to monitor reforms. The Specialist would be responsible for working with and coordinating civil society groups and grantees to build their capacity on reform and government accountability. He/she would also serve as the project’s advisor on political parties in Indonesia.
